Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years hands‑on IBMi (OS/400, i5/OS) administration.
• Experience with BRMS, backup strategies, and DR planning.
• Strong knowledge of TB/IP networking and IBM MQ environments.
• Proficiency in CL programming and Db2 for i (DB2/SQL).

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support IBM i partitions across Power Systems.
• Manage backups, DR, and high‑availability solutions.
• Perform OS upgrades, PTFs, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor and optimize system performance and resource usage.
• Develop architecture standards, procedures, and docs.
• Lead incident and change management, with root‑cause analysis.
