Job summary

Shangri-La Boracay is seeking a Hygiene & Sanitation Manager to lead sanitation standards across the resort, ensuring safety for guests and staff. You will oversee HACCP compliance, audits, and training to uphold the group's quality expectations.

The role requires at least 2 years in an international hotel, fluency in English, and a detail-oriented, team-oriented leadership style. You will work in Boracay's premier resort environment with a focus on excellence and guest well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an international hotel in the same capacity.
• Preferably Food Technologist, Environmental Health, or Food Science with strong auditing skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Hygiene and Sanitation practices.
• Strictly enforces HACCP guidelines in F&B operations.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Creative, detail-oriented, outgoing, and a team-builder.
• Motivator, self-starter, and committed to professional values.

Responsibilities

• Maintain/upgrade sanitation and hygiene standards of the resort in accordance with Shangri-La Group standards.
• Ensure all food and beverages served to guests and employees meet hygiene standards.
• Ensure employees observe all sanitation standards.
• Ensure water supply and pool water are free of contaminants.

We are looking for a Hygiene & Sanitation Manager

As a Hygiene & Sanitation Manager, we rely on you to

• Maintain/upgrade sanitation and hygiene standards of the resort in accordance with the standard of Shangri-La Group
• ensure all food and beverages served to guests and employees
• Ensures that all employees are in observance of all sanitation standards.
• Ensure the general water supply and pool water are free of microbiological, chemical and physical contamination

We are looking for someone who:

• With a minimum of 2 years experience in an international hotel in the same capacity.
• Preferably Food Technologist orEnvironmental Health or Food Science and have Good auditing skills.
• Excellent knowledge of leading-edge Hygiene and Sanitation related practices.
