Job summary

Grand Hyatt Manila is seeking an experienced Hygiene Officer to assist the Director of Hygiene in overseeing hygiene, sanitation and food safety across the hotel.

You will help implement policies related to hygiene, sanitation and ISO-22000 compliance, ensuring high standards and attention to detail. Local candidates with science-related degrees and HACCP/ISO-22000 familiarity are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant hotel experience.
• Graduate of science-related courses and related certifications.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures per international and local authorities.
• Familiar with HACCP and ISO-22000 certifications.

We are looking for an experienced Hygiene Officer who will assist the Director of Hygiene in overseeing the overall hygiene, sanitation and food safety in the hotel.

In this role, you will provide strong and efficient administrative support in the implementation of the hotel’s policies and procedures related to hygiene, sanitation and food safety. You will be responsible in ensuring that hygiene standards are maintained in relation to the implementation of ISO-22000.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates must meet the following criteria:

• With at least 2 years of relevant experience in reputable hotels is desired
• Must be a graduate of science-related courses (Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or other food-related courses like Food Technology)
• Comprehensive knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures, in conformity with the standards set by international and local authorities
• Competence in handling hotel food safety management systems, preferably with previous experience in handling certifications, such as but not limited to HACCP and ISO-22000
• With high regards for details and accuracy
• Passion for working with people
• This position is open to local candidates or Philippine passport holder with valid working rights.
