Job summary

Smart Infrastructure in Manila is seeking a Level 2 IT support specialist to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues for mission-critical applications, collaborating with internal technical teams and customers. You will test updates, investigate incidents, monitor system health, and ensure reliable service delivery with a customer-centric approach.

You will work in a structured support environment, engaging in after-hours on-call when required and aligning with SLAs.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS, Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3–5 years Linux experience including troubleshooting and admin tasks.
• 3–5 years SQL and databases experience to support data analysis and issue resolution.
• Familiar with virtualization and infra tech like VMware, servers, storage, firewall and networking.
• Experience in structured technical support environments with defined SLAs.
• Customer-oriented, strong communication, willing to support after-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support for mission-critical applications; troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with internal teams and customers.
• Test and validate system updates; support pre- and post-release testing of software and firmware.
• Investigate incidents and defects; perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Communicate findings and progress clearly to customers; update on issue status and resolutions.
• Monitor system health and performance; proactively identify risks and support reliability.
• Assess and coordinate ticket escalations; collaborate with teams to resolve issues by business impact.
