Siemens Philippines seeks a Level 2 IT Support Engineer to deliver advanced technical assistance for mission‑critical applications, troubleshooting complex system issues, and collaborating with internal teams and customers to ensure system stability. You will test updates, investigate incidents, and clearly communicate findings and timelines.

The role requires 3–5 years in Linux environments and SQL databases, plus virtualization knowledge and a customer‑focused mindset.

Formación

• 3–5 years on Linux environments with troubleshooting and system administration.
• 3–5 years experience with SQL and databases for data analysis and resolution.
• Familiar with virtualization and infra tech (VMware, servers, storage, firewall, networking).
• Experience in structured technical support with defined service levels.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Level 2 technical support for mission-critical applications and resolve complex system issues.
• Test and validate system updates; support pre- and post-release testing of software/firmware.
• Investigate incidents; perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Communicate findings and progress clearly to customers with timelines.
• Monitor system health, identify risks, and support reliability.
• Coordinate escalation and prioritize tickets with internal teams based on impact.
