Job summary

Career Connect seeks a Technical Solutions Engineer to accelerate sales productivity by securing technical closes across complex deals. You will collaborate with sales, products, services, engineering and support to ensure feasible, customer-aligned solutions supported by key technical decision-makers.

You will mentor teams, scope technical requirements, and provide cost and risk assessments to enable profitable proposals while guiding cross-functional stakeholders through the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• Product certification or equivalent technical credential.
• At least 5 years in sales or sales engineering in B2B, large/strategic segments.
• At least 3 years architecting software solutions.
• At least 3 years mobile and/or web app development experience.
• 3+ years in client-facing technical roles (pre-sales, etc.).
• Experience producing technical proposals and documentation.
• Proven technical solution expertise in a sales context.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to scope the required technical solution.
• Assess needs and recommend value-driven solutions for customers.
• Work with Business Development for opportunity positioning.
• Advise on product demonstrations and solution presentations.
• Provide risk, cost estimates and viability assessments.
• Mentor team members and sales on product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support deals with prioritized effort for maximum impact.
• Collaborate across engineering, design, and support to enable lifecycle.
• Incorporate customer feedback into technically sound solutions.
