Job summary

Avaloq Philippines is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Service Operations – CLM/CRM team in Makati. You will design, develop, maintain, and support core applications that power client lifecycle management and client relationship management across the Avaloq platform.

Collaborate with business analysts, product teams, and project delivery to fix production issues, implement durable improvements, and ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience in banking/financial services is preferred.
• Strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Java, Unix, Python, and Oracle SQL/PL-SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and test automation.
• Excellent written and verbal English and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable operation of CLM/CRM and integrated third-party apps.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality code fixes.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent resolutions.
• Collaborate with analysts, product teams, and delivery teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Support testing activities including UAT and integration testing.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing.
• Work with agile processes and Jira.
