Job summary

Avaloq Group in Switzerland with global clients is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and support CLM/CRM applications. You will help ensure stable operations and contribute to continuous improvements across production systems.

You will collaborate with business analysts, product teams, and delivery teams, resolve incidents, write high quality code, participate in testing and UAT, and maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer in banking or financial services.
• Strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of RDBMS, Oracle SQL queries, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Java; Unix, Python or similar.
• Experience in software design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with best practices, version control, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and organized with a learning mindset.
• Full professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable, reliable operation of CLM/CRM and integrated apps.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and complex issues.
• Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality code fixes.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the SDLC for scalable solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to meet evolving requirements.
• Support client workshops and assist analysts in requirements analysis.
• Support testing activities including UAT.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing.
• Work with agile methodologies and Jira.
• Take ownership of area of expertise.
