Job summary

Internetwork Expert is seeking an Application Support Engineer (L2) to join our team in a hybrid role in the Philippines. The candidate will handle incident tickets, perform technical analyses, and coordinate with DevOps during deployments to ensure SLA adherence.

The role requires a 3-onsite/2-remote work pattern, a bachelor’s degree in a computing field, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Flexibility for weekend and mid-shift work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
• 3+ years of work experience as Application Support Engineer.
• Knowledge and work experience in SQL, scripting, and analyzing logs.
• Good analytical skills, problem determination, attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
• ITIL experience is a plus.
• Hybrid work setup: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote weekly.
• Willing to work at client site when assigned.
• Weekend and mid-shift availability (e.g., 3:00 PM–12:00 AM).
• Position provides SLA-based Production Support across a 7‑day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Handle Incident & Issue Tickets requiring deep technical analysis.
• Investigate application errors, system failures, and performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents (RCA).
• Provide timely fixes or workarounds to restore service.
• Analyze logs and database queries to identify root causes.
• Reproduce issues in test or staging environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps during rollouts and patches.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
• Ensure SLAs are met and act as bridge between L1 and L3 teams.
• Document known issues and solutions.
