Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Technical Desktop Support Engineer in the Philippines to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, support software deployments and migrations, and manage desktop hardware and devices. You will act as primary escalation point for the Central Service Desk and ensure reliable IT service delivery.

The role requires at least 3 years in IT with strong desktop and audiovisual support, knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, GPO, SharePoint, Teams, and MECM, plus ITIL Foundation,

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of IT experience with a strong desktop and audiovisual support background.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, GPO, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and MECM.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with end users and stakeholders.
• Experience providing high-quality end-user support and troubleshooting technical issues.
• ITIL Foundation, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications are preferred in a financial services context.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for the Central Service Desk, managing and resolving escalated incidents and service requests.
• Own local IT support issues to ensure timely resolution and a positive end-user experience.
• Manage and maintain hardware, and assist with installation, configuration, patching, and support of desktop systems and software.
• Update, categorize, prioritize, and track tickets within the service management toolset for accurate documentation and service delivery.
• Collaborate with procurement teams and external vendors to support hardware, software, and technology-related requirements.
