Manulife Investment Management (HK) Limited is seeking an entry-level Paralegal to support its Investment Law Division across Asia and North America. The role involves legal research, drafting, and maintaining templates and processes under lawyers' guidance.

You will assist with corporate governance, regulatory filings, and documentation across investments and real estate matters, while coordinating stakeholder meetings and tracking deliverables.

Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or progress to the second year of JD.
• Preferably 2+ years in a corporate law firm, in-house or finance environment.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving and judgment abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication; collaboration across teams.

Aufgaben

• Draft and review routine legal documents such as NDAs, service agreements, articles of incorporation, by-laws, board resolutions, board minutes, financial reports, fund disclosures, and regulatory forms, with basic analysis.
• Support corporate governance, including drafting/executing board resolutions, AGM tracking, and regulatory filings.
• Prepare robust first drafts of less routine documents for legal review.
• Conduct legal research across investments, funds, employment, IP, contracts, and governance.
• Provide admin support: maintain files, correspondence, track progress, and assist with Legal Tracker/Legal Inventory.
• Develop subject matter knowledge and identify process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Manage legal transactions and projects by tracking deadlines and coordinating follow-ups.
• Support investment-related legal activities: deal docs, fund subscriptions, entity management, intragroup agreements.
• Maintain organized, compliant records and protect confidential information.
• Deliver high-quality work while building legal, technical, and professional expertise.
