Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a GL/ R2R Supervisor for a leading multinational renewable energy organisation in the Philippines. You will manage end-to-end R2R activities, lead close processes, and ensure accuracy of journal entries and reconciliations while driving improvements across geographies.

The role emphasizes strong IFRS knowledge, stakeholder management, and process automation to support audits and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in GL or R2R.
• Shared Services or multinational company experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and accounting principles.
• Experience handling month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven experience driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) activities
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Analyse financial results and investigate variances
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Support statutory, internal, and external audit requirements
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives
• Partner with global stakeholders across finance and operations
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and resolve ageing items
• Act as SME for complex accounting and reporting issues
