Job summary

Continental Tires Manila Business Services Inc. seeks a GL Supervisor to lead a small accounting team and oversee monthly North America close processes in alignment with IFRS and FRM guidelines. The role interfaces with US/Germany entities, internal auditors, and external auditors, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Hybrid work setup with HMO on hire, plus values-based culture and learning opportunities. CPA preferred with 10–12 years of experience in accounting/finance.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years accounting/finance experience.
• Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
• SAP experience is required.
• Supervisory/management experience preferred but open for high potential individuals.
• Experience working in an international company and/or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Team player with ability to work with various functional areas and levels of management.
• Roll up the sleeves attitude.
• Interpersonal skills – good listener and communicator, organizational skills, talent evaluation capability.
• Feel responsible for own area, yet contribute to overall operations’ success or failure.
• Experience in a matrix organization and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small team of accountants covering intercompany, GL accounting, and FP&A.
• Manage monthly North America close processes and coordinate with internal stakeholders; support US production and sales entities.
• Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled and reviewed monthly with timely adjustments.
• Coordinate with US Fort Mill and Corporate Accounting in Hanover to ensure IFRS/FRM policy compliance.
• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and quarterly reviews.
• Support plants and other functions related to internal audit.
• Ensure accounting adheres to IFRS and Internal FRM, manage GL and asset accounting.
