Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Financial Accountant to ensure timely monthly and other financial reporting, including month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and supporting the year-end audit as the primary contact. You will contribute to various reporting, project and ad hoc finance activities in a proactive, hands-on environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

The role requires a strong accounting background with advanced Excel skills and the ability to work

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of accounting experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Experience in a global finance environment; UK exposure is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls and external audit processes.
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to manage deadlines and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly management reports and financial information.
• Lead the year-end audit process and prepare annual financial statements.
• Complete regulatory, VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory returns.
• Support finance integration activities for acquisitions and growth initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
