Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Field Support Technician to serve as the front line of IT operations, delivering Level 2 support for hardware, software, AV/VC systems, and network connectivity. You will manage incidents, perform system installations, and act as a bridge to Level 3 teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of end-user support in Windows environments and MS365.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• Experience with video conferencing (Zoom and Teams).
• Experience in server room management and structured cabling.
• Prior use of ServiceNow is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proficient in written and verbal English.
• Clear reporting of technical issues or escalations to Level 3 support teams or management.
• Awareness of sensitive situations and the ability to respond effectively.
• Proactive mindset to identify and recommend improvements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, efficient IT support to end-users (deskside and remote) for hardware, software, AV/VC systems, and network connectivity.
• Manage incidents and requests, troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform installations, configurations, and maintenance of systems, including reimaging laptops, peripherals, and server room upkeep.
• Provide support for mobile devices, cloud printing, and structured cabling.
• Set up user accounts, permissions, and access per security protocols.
• Assist with procurement, inventory management, and disposal of IT hardware.
• Maintain accurate incident records; collaborate with Level 3 teams; contribute to user guides and training materials.
• Stay current on technology trends and propose infrastructure/process improvements.
