Staff Domain Inc. in Melbourne-based construction sector is seeking a Contract Administrator / Estimator to join our team.

The role covers procurement, contract documentation, pricing, and cost control across multiple projects, with hybrid/Work-From-Home flexibility. You will work closely with Directors, Project Managers, subcontractors and suppliers to prepare estimates, manage variations and progress claims, and maintain accurate project records.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, contract administration or similar construction role.
• Experience in residential or commercial construction or engineering.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and trades.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procurement and subcontractor engagement.
• Prepare purchase orders, subcontractor docs and project correspondence.
• Monitor project costs against budgets and review variations.
• Support progress claims, invoices and payment schedules.
• Maintain project records and contract documentation.
• Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients.
• Assist Project Managers and Site Managers with commercial matters.
• Prepare and review construction estimates and quotations.
• Identify scope gaps and potential cost issues.
