Job summary

The Azure Cloud Architect role focuses on overseeing the Firm’s cloud infrastructure, especially Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalable, secure solutions aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities include managing Azure accounts, collaborating with developers, and shaping long-term cloud strategy while coordinating with vendors on big data initiatives. Hybrid, Makati-based with a morning shift as noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM-related field.
• 2-7 years of experience in systems administration or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform is essential.
• Knowledge and experience in virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
• Ability to translate architectural requirements into effective cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Skill in selecting appropriate cloud services based on data, compute, or security needs.
• Capability to estimate cloud usage costs and apply strategies for cost control.
• Experience migrating on-premises servers and services to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Perform system administration tasks and monitor performance across cloud environments.
• Actively manage Azure cloud accounts and advise on infrastructure support with developers and architects.
• Help define and contribute to the Firm's long-term cloud strategy and roadmap.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to support cloud initiatives, including big data.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies for cost efficiency and strategic value.
• Conduct capacity planning reviews to ensure resources meet demands.
• Redesign or refresh cloud solutions to adapt to evolving business needs.
• Lead IT Engineering projects and ensure timely, on-budget delivery of solutions.
