Job summary

Clevr OPC is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect to oversee and optimize the Firm’s Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The role focuses on scalable, secure cloud solutions aligned with business needs, including front-end platforms, servers, storage, and networks.

The ideal candidate has 2–7 years in cloud engineering, strong Azure expertise, and a track record in designing fault-tolerant, cost-efficient architectures. Hybrid Makati-based role with collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field.
• 2–7 years of experience in systems administration or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform is essential.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
• Ability to translate architectural requirements into cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available systems.
• Skill in selecting cloud services based on data, compute, or security needs.
• Ability to estimate cloud usage costs and apply cost-control strategies.
• Experience migrating on-premises servers and services to the cloud.

Azure Cloud Architect

Job Summary

The Azure Cloud Architect is responsible for overseeing and managing the Firm’s cloud infrastructure and operations. This strategic role includes maintaining front-end platforms, servers, storage, and network systems within the cloud environment, with a particular focus on Microsoft Azure. The architect ensures that cloud solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform system administration tasks such as monitoring system and network performance, resolving issues, managing user accounts, and coordinating with other IT groups.
• Actively manage Azure cloud accounts and advise on infrastructure support while collaborating with developers and architects across departments.
• Help define and contribute to the Firm's long-term cloud strategy and roadmap.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, particularly in areas like big data, to support cloud initiatives.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies for their potential value, especially in terms of cost efficiency and strategic advantage.
• Conduct regular capacity planning reviews to ensure system resources meet organizational demands.
• Redesign or refresh cloud solutions to adapt to evolving business requirements.
• Lead IT Engineering projects and ensure timely, on-budget delivery of solutions that meet business expectations.
