Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of our cloud environment in Makati. The role focuses on stability, scalability, and efficiency across cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networks.

The ideal candidate has 2–7 years of systems administration or cloud engineering experience, with strong Microsoft Azure expertise and solid networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field.
• 2–7 years of experience in systems administration or cloud engineering.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (required).
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls).
• Ability to translate architectural requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience deploying and managing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Ability to select appropriate cloud services based on compute, data, and security needs.
• Experience in estimating cloud usage costs and implementing cost optimization strategies
• Experience in migrating on-premise systems to cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform system administration tasks including monitoring performance and troubleshooting.
• Manage Azure cloud environments and optimize infrastructure.
• Contribute to long-term cloud strategy and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to support cloud initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies for cost efficiency and value.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance assessments.
• Lead IT engineering projects to deliver within scope and budget.
• Engage in client-facing responsibilities and ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST and ISO.
