The ideal candidate will have 2–7 years in cloud engineering or systems administration, strong Azure hands-on experience, and a solid grounding in networking and virtualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field.
• 2–7 years of experience in systems administration or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform is essential.
• Knowledge and experience in virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
• Ability to translate architectural requirements into effective cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Skill in selecting appropriate cloud services based on data, compute, or security needs.
• Capability to estimate cloud usage costs and apply strategies for cost control.
• Experience migrating on-premises servers and services to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Perform system administration tasks such as monitoring system and network performance, resolving issues, managing user accounts, and coordinating with other IT groups.
• Actively manage Azure cloud accounts and advise on infrastructure support while collaborating with developers and architects across departments.
• Help define and contribute to the Firm's long-term cloud strategy and roadmap.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, particularly in areas like big data, to support cloud initiatives.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies for their potential value, especially in terms of cost efficiency and strategic advantage.
• Conduct regular capacity planning reviews to ensure system resources meet organizational demands.
• Redesign or refresh cloud solutions to adapt to evolving business requirements.
• Lead IT Engineering projects and ensure timely, on-budget delivery of solutions that meet business expectations.
