Job summary

The Azure Cloud Architect role focuses on overseeing the Firm’s cloud infrastructure, especially Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalable, secure solutions aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities include managing Azure accounts, collaborating with developers, and shaping long-term cloud strategy while coordinating with vendors on big data initiatives. Hybrid, Makati-based with a morning shift as noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM-related field.
• 2-7 years of experience in systems administration or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform is essential.
• Knowledge and experience in virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
• Ability to translate architectural requirements into effective cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Skill in selecting appropriate cloud services based on data, compute, or security needs.
• Capability to estimate cloud usage costs and apply strategies for cost control.
• Experience migrating on-premises servers and services to the cloud.
