Hammerjack Pty. Ltd. Philippine Branch Office is seeking an AU Accountant to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely Australian client accounting outcomes. You will manage end-to-end processes, support transitions, and work with ownership and care in a hybrid setup.

The role requires 2+ years in Australian accounting, proficiency with Xero/MYOB/QB, and strong attention to detail. Join a dynamic team serving international clients with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Australian accounting or bookkeeping.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounting processes and Australian compliance requirements.
• Experience using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office tools.
• High attention to detail, with strong accuracy and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting cycle: end-to-end Australian bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, month-end, and reporting.
• Keep reporting accurate: prepare financial statements meeting client reporting and compliance.
• Reconcile with precision: bank and balance sheet reconciliations with audit-ready records.
• Clean up the details: client account clean-ups, investigate discrepancies, resolve issues.
• Keep clients moving: monitor communications and respond to requests promptly.
• Support smooth transitions: assist with onboarding, setup, and reporting.
• Improve the way we work: collaborate to strengthen processes and service delivery.
• Stay accountable: complete time tracking and admin tasks accurately and on time.
