Job summary

Klaiya is seeking an Accounting Assistant to handle financial transactions and support financial statement preparation in a dynamic digital marketing agency.

You will record all transactions, maintain up-to-date records, reconcile bank and book balances, assist in preparing statements, process supplier payments, manage accounts payable, track expenses, and encode receipts, with a hybrid setup in Binondo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance Management/Accounting Technology or equivalent
• Knowledge in general accounting and bookkeeping
• 6 months to 1 year of experience
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to work in Binondo, Manila
• Knowledge in QuickBooks is a plus

Responsibilities

• Record all financial transactions in the system and books of accounts
• Maintain up-to-date financial records
• Reconcile bank and book balances
• Assist in preparing financial statements
• Process payments to suppliers
• Maintain and monitor accounts payable
• Track company expenses and analyze budget vs. actual data
• File and encode issued receipts and supporting documents
• Issue bills to customers as needed
• Assist in collecting payments from customers as needed
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
