Job summary

Philippines HVAC Services Corporation is seeking a Purchasing Officer to source, canvass, and purchase HVAC materials and related supplies. You will coordinate with Engineering, Installation, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement aligned with project specs.

The role requires at least 3 years of purchasing experience in HVAC or engineering materials, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong negotiation and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, IE, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years purchasing experience, HVAC materials or engineering supplies preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC installation materials, tools, consumables, and accessories.
• Experience with supplier canvassing, quotation comparison, price negotiation, and PO monitoring.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Source and canvass suppliers for HVAC materials, tools, consumables, and project supplies.
• Request and compare supplier quotations based on price, quality, availability, and delivery lead time.
• Purchase materials and tools based on approved Purchase Requests and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Supervisors, and Technicians to clarify material specifications and requirements.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs), canvass sheets, and other purchasing documents.
• Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, payment terms, discounts, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor the status of purchase orders and ensure timely delivery to project sites or the warehouse.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse Department regarding the receipt, quantity, and condition of delivered materials and tools.
• Maintain and update supplier records, price lists, quotations, and purchasing documentation.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with reliable suppliers.
