Job summary

Boss Cargo Express Freight Services Inc. is seeking an HR Specialist – Compensation & Benefits to expand your HR career beyond a single function.

You will gain exposure to Compensation & Benefits, Training & Development, Recruitment, and Staffing while supporting employees and driving HR initiatives that create real impact on both people and the business. In this role, you will administer and monitor payroll inputs, benefits, and statutory deductions in a fast-paced logistics environment,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Psychology, or related field
• 2–3 years HR experience with payroll exposure
• Working knowledge of Philippine labor standards and government-mandated benefits
• Strong communication, coordination, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail handling payroll and employee records
• Ability to handle sensitive information professionally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on challenges
• Able to work in a fast-paced logistics environment

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor compensation, payroll inputs, and employee benefits.
• Process and monitor SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, leaves, overtime, deductions, and other payroll-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee records.
• Prepare C&B reports, reconciliations, and other HR-related reports.
• Assist employees with compensation and benefits concerns and provide timely HR support.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable Philippine labor standards and government requirements.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend improvements to C&B processes and controls.
• Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training and development programs.
• Monitor training attendance, completion, and effectiveness.
• Maintain training records and support employee engagement and development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Recruitment and other HR functions to support the overall employee lifecycle.
• Take on new HR projects and opportunities that will help you expand your skills and experience.

ABOUT YOU

You may be the next version of yourself we're looking for if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Preferably 2–3 years of HR experience, with exposure to Payroll and Compensation & Benefits.

• Working knowledge of Philippine labor standards and government-mandated benefits.

• Strong communication, coordination, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail, especially when handling payroll and employee records.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• A willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
