Job summary

dnata Travel Group in Morong, Philippines seeks an experienced HR professional to guide and monitor HR staff, implement policies, and ensure labor-law compliance. The role covers onboarding, HRIS support, and coordination with management across payroll and offboarding processes.

The successful candidate will drive HR initiatives, maintain accurate HR outputs, and collaborate on training programs while handling case management and government audits as needed.

Qualifications

  • University degree in business or HR related discipline.
  • Minimum five years' HR experience in an HR environment.
  • Experience supervising people and teams.
  • Experience with HR Business Partnership setup is an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of labor legislation, HR policies & procedures.
  • Excellent PC skills and exposure to HRIS or HR systems.
  • Strong English communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and interaction with all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Guides, monitors, and tracks progress of HR staffs via monthly coaching and scoring.
  • Assist HR Manager in creation and implementation of new policies.
  • Update and roll out company policies; ensure alignment with Labor Code.
  • Case management; assist in releasing NTE; facilitate Admin hearings and NOD.
  • Conduct HR orientations for new onboard employees.
  • Serves as Back up for HRIS (system maintenance, screen and workflow creation).
  • Schedules and co-facilitates administrative hearings together.
  • Liaise between employees and management in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ensure output of HR personnel is accurate and error-free.
  • Support development and implementation of HR initiatives and processes.
  • Plan and implement training programs for HR personnel’s career path.
  • Spearhead governmental audits and ensure compliance.
  • Screens and certifies benefit claims before endorsement to higher management.
  • Initiates Contract Adjustment.
  • Provides HR reports for Payroll processing; track AWOL cases.
  • Oversee offboarding and leavers reports month-on-month.
  • Knowledgeable on visa application, cancellation, or renewal.
  • POC for assigned HR facets if HR Manager is out.
  • May perform tasks of other HR personnel when necessary.

  • Has relative experience in handling and/or supervising people
  • Experience in HR Business Partnership set-up is an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of the relevant legislation, Human Resources policies & procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Excellent PC skills and exposure to Human Resources based systems.
  • Good customer service skills and strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Good negotiating and persuasive abilities and ability to interact with all levels in the organisation.
  • Strong analytical abilities and computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
