Job summary

SM Supermalls is seeking an HR Manager to lead and implement strategic HR directions across recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and development within our mall operations in Metro Manila. You will oversee staffing, onboarding, training, and performance management to ensure a capable and engaged workforce.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/HRM or related field, with at least 5 years in HR leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, HRM, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Human Resource Management.
• Strong background in employee relations and compensation and benefits.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to relate with all levels of the organization.

Job description

The HR Manager is responsible to implement strategic directions that impact on Human Resources administration and operations within the areas of recruitment / staffing, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, organizational development, training, talent /performance management and other related human resource functions in order to provide and achieve appropriate and productive working relationships among management and its employees within the mall, and within the limits provided by corporate guidelines, local ordinances and Labor Laws or Code.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supports mall operations by executing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals and addressing organizational needs.
• Manages recruitment, onboarding, and learning plans to ensure timely hiring and employee readiness.
• Implements performance management systems, provides coaching, and drives employee development programs.
• Fosters positive employee relations, engagement, and collaboration to maintain a healthy work environment.
• Oversees organizational design, manpower planning, and coordination of compensation and benefits programs.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be a Bachelor's Degree graduate of Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resource Management, or any related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Human Resource Management.
• Strong background in different HR facets especially in employee relations and compensation and benefits.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to relate well with all levels of the organization.
