Job summary

SM City La Union is seeking an Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions for the mall, including recruitment, performance management, learning and development, and labor compliance. The role ensures HR initiatives align with company culture and business objectives.

Responsibilities include workforce planning, compensation administration, employee engagement, and HR analytics, with a focus on upholding Philippine labor regulations and privacy of confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive HR experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory HR role.
• Knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and employment regulations.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office.
• Strong strategic thinking and people management capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Experience in retail, property management, hospitality, or mall operations preferred.

About the role

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and managing all HR functions within the mall, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits administration, labor relations, employee engagement, and compliance with company policies and labor regulations. The role ensures that HR initiatives support business objectives and foster a positive work environment aligned with SM Supermalls' culture and values.
