TBEA Subic Inc. is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to establish and improve the project's Safety, Health and Environmental management systems, and to develop emergency response and rescue plans for safety and environmental incidents in our Philippine project.
You will review contractor safety plans, inspect performance, organize awareness campaigns and training, implement measures for major hazards, and lead incident investigations.
Establish and improve the project's Safety, Health and Environmental (HSE) management systems, as well as emergency response and rescue plans for safety and environmental incidents. Participate in the review of construction organization plans and special safety plans prepared by contractors, and inspect and control the project's safety performance and safe production activities.
Organize or participate in the project's HSE awareness campaigns, education, and training, and maintain accurate records of all HSE awareness, education, and training activities
Implement HSE management measures for the project's major and critical hazards
Organize or participate in emergency response drills and exercises
Develop and implement HSE inspection plans, promptly identify and investigate potential hazards, provide recommendations for improving HSE management, implement corrective actions, and maintain accurate records of corrective actions and their closure status
Stop and correct unsafe acts and violations, including unauthorized or unsafe instructions, forcing personnel to perform high-risk operations, and violations of operating procedures
Organize or participate in the investigation and handling of HSE incidents and accidents
Organize HSE performance assessments, and provide recommendations regarding rewards and disciplinary actions
Complete other tasks and responsibilities assigned by project management
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, with a valid local/Philippine safety certification
Relevant work experience in thermal power generation, power transmission and substations, wind power, solar PV, or other power construction projects is preferred
At least 5 years of experience in safety/HSE management, with a valid local/Philippine safety certification
Good coordination, organizational, and communication skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities
