Job description

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent* HSE / OSH Certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, DOLE OSH, or equivalent)* Proven experience conducting site safety inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring for contractors and subcontractors* Hands-on experience in hazard identification, risk assessment (HIRA/JSA), and implementation of control measures* Experience in monitoring high-risk activities such as:* excavation and earthworks work at height lifting operations and heavy equipment confined space works concrete works and formwork systems + Demonstrated experience in incident and accident investigation, root cause analysis, and preparation of corrective and preventive action reports + Experience in reviewing and enforcing method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems* Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, codes, and standards* Ability to conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments* Competence in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), and Permit-to-Work systems* Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking* Familiarity with construction equipment, heavy machinery, confined spaces, and work-at-height safetyAt Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
