Job summary

Haier Electrical Appliances Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to partner with the China HR Director and local leadership to implement and localize HR policies, processes, and initiatives in the Philippines.

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in HR Operations or an HR supervisory/managerial role.
• Good knowledge of Philippine HR practices and employment regulations.
• Experience in employee lifecycle management, HRIS, performance management, and employee relations.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to work effectively with Chinese management and multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the China HR Director to implement and localize HR policies, processes, and initiatives in the Philippines.
• Oversee daily HR operations and ensure HR activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, probation, regularization, transfers, promotions, employee changes, and offboarding.
• Lead and support the HR team by assigning responsibilities, monitoring workload and performance, and providing guidance.
• Develop and improve HR SOPs, forms, workflows, and service standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely HRIS/Workday data maintenance and process execution.
• Coordinate performance management, employee relations, disciplinary matters, and related HR processes.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and applicable Philippine employment regulations.
• Prepare HR reports and analysis on headcount, turnover, recruitment, employee movements, and key HR issues.
• Coordinate with Finance, Admin, Recruitment, and business departments to resolve HR-related matters.
• Identify HR operational gaps and drive process improvements to improve efficiency and employee experience.
• Provide regular updates to the China HR Director and management on HR operations, key risks, and issues requiring escalation.
