Job summary

Thames International School in Quezon City is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources function. You will supervise the HR team, oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations to foster a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities include performance management, training and development, policy implementation, data reporting, and collaboration with department heads to align HR initiatives with organizational goals. This role is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field is required.
• 3–5 years HR experience with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and labor relations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor HR team members and support their daily responsibilities.
• Oversee recruitment process, job postings, interviewing and candidate selection.
• Manage onboarding processes for new employees to ensure smooth transitions.
• Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures; resolve conflicts.
• Oversee performance evaluations and support development via performance improvement plans.
• Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and update HR policies accordingly.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR data; prepare HR metrics reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to address HR-related needs and initiatives.
