Job summary

JRC VISA CONSULTANCY and IMMIGRATION SERVICES in Cebu City is seeking an HR Generalist to manage HR administration and the full recruitment cycle. You will post jobs, screen and interview candidates, onboard new hires, and prepare employment documents while updating records in the HRIS and Alphalist.

The role requires coordinating with managers on staffing needs, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and handling payroll, benefits, and government contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end recruitment and HR administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR administrative tasks and the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Prepare employment documents, including job offers, rejection letters, and appointment-related documents.
• Coordinate with department managers regarding staffing and manpower requirements.
• Update and maintain employee information in the HRIS and JRC Alphalist.
• Maintain accurate and organized employee files and records.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies in line with company objectives.
• Prepare HR reports, audit documents, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and government regulations.
• Process payroll, payslips, employee benefits, and government-mandated contributions such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag‑IBIG.
• Process employee enrollment and cancellation for HMO and Group Life Insurance (Manulife).
• Assist employees with SSS, HDMF loans, and other benefit claims.
• Monitor employee attendance, leave, and timekeeping records.
• Address payroll concerns and coordinate with the Accounting Department when necessary.
• Manage employee benefits, payroll, leave, and other HR‑related concerns.
• Prepare Notices to Explain (NTE) and Notices of Decision (NOD).
• Handle employee documentation, disciplinary actions, separation clearances, and employee database updates.
• Respond to employee HR‑related inquiries and maintain strict confidentiality of employee information.
• Prepare company memorandums, announcements, and other formal letters as required by management.
• Organize employee engagement activities to promote a positive workplace culture, employee retention, and employee welfare programs.
• Conduct monthly employee “Kumustahan” sessions.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of training materials.
• Conduct exit interviews and manage employee offboarding processes.
• Prepare and compute employees’ final pay.
• Ensure employees who receive their final pay properly sign the required quitclaims.
• Perform other HR‑related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by management from time to time.
