About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Supervisor to join MANYQ Food Management Ltd., Inc. This is a full-time position based in Binondo, Manila City, Metro Manila. As HR Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources function, ensuring effective people management practices across the organisation. You will be responsible for implementing HR policies, supporting employee development, and contributing to the creation of a positive workplace culture that aligns with our company values.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviews and new employee orientation
- Support the administration of employee records, payroll processing and benefits management
- Handle employee queries, grievances and disciplinary matters in a professional and confidential manner
- Facilitate and coordinate training and development programmes for employees at all levels
- Monitor compliance with employment laws, regulations and company HR policies
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives
- Maintain HR documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping in accordance with legal requirements
- Support the planning and coordination of employee engagement activities and events
- Liaise between management and employees to foster effective communication and resolve workplace issues
- Prepare HR reports and analytics to support strategic decision-making
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a supervisory or HR generalist capacity
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance in the Philippines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or payroll software
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer service orientation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
- Preferred: Experience in the food service or hospitality industry
