MRC LINK EXPRESS COPR,. is seeking an experienced payroll-focused professional in Metro Manila to handle end-to-end payroll processing, attendance reviews, and wage calculations.

The role involves maintaining payroll accuracy, budgeting payroll expenses, and resolving discrepancies with discretion. Ideal candidates have a degree in Accounting/HR/Business Admin or an associate’s degree, with at least 3 years in payroll/HRS roles and strong proficiency in HRIS and accounting software, plus MS

• Degree in Accounting, HR or Business Administration, or an Associate's degree with experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, payroll, and related functions
• Proven payroll officer/clerk experience with manual and system processing

About the role

Responsible for processing employees' payroll including but not limited to collecting, reviewing, timekeeping attendance and calculate wages as well in managing company payroll budget expense and timekeeping performance of an employee.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews and validates employees Daily Time Record (DTR)
• Prepares and process of employees' compensation bi–monthly
• Ensures correctness of payroll computation including deductions
• Prepares discrepancy reports
• Ensures timely processing of payroll
• Answers payroll-related employee concerns and disputes
• Checks DOLE and NWPC announcements and directives on employee statutory benefits
• Assists Comp & Ben of any benefits related activities

About you

• Degree in a program of study related to Accounting, Human Resources or Business Administration, Associate's Degree or a combination of education and experience
• At least 3 years experience in areas of Human Resources, Payroll preparation, & other HR-related functions
• Proven work experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar role (manual and system)
• Knowledge and/or Hands-on experience with HRIS and accounting software
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and payroll practices
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel)
• Can work with limited supervision and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Strong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors
• Detail-oriented
