Job summary

obs is seeking an experienced HR leader in the Philippines to manage all core HR functions, including payroll coordination, statutory compliance, employee relations, recruitment support, benefits administration, and performance management, aligned with Philippine labor regulations.

The role oversees HR operations, maintains HRIS data integrity, supports ISO/ISMS compliance, and guides management on HR matters while ensuring a positive employee experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations including payroll coordination, statutory compliance, employee relations, recruitment support, benefits administration, performance management, and ISO compliance.
• Structure and organise the HR department to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and implement employee retention strategies to reduce attrition and improve engagement.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and statutory remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
• Maintain and update employee handbook, HR policies, and employment contracts.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding, final pay calculation, and employee relations concerns.
• Maintain HRIS and employee records with data accuracy, confidentiality, and ISMS compliance.
• Generate HR reports including headcount, attrition, and payroll summaries.
• Support ISO compliance audits, documentation control, and corrective action processes.
• Oversee vendor management documentation related to HR.
