The Qualifications We Seek
Essential Experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in HR administration and/or payroll administration
- Knowledge of UK payroll processes and employment legislation
- Experience handling confidential employee and payroll information
Essential Qualifications
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including English and Mathematics
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or willingness to work toward it, preferred

Your Daily Tasks
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
- Administer the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR documentation
- Manage absence records, annual leave tracking, and sickness reporting
- Support recruitment activities and process new starter documentation
- Assist with employee background checks and right-to-work verification
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Support HR projects and initiatives as required
Payroll Administration
- Collect, verify, and process payroll data, including onboarding and offboarding information, salary adjustments, overtime and bonus payments, statutory payments, and pension contributions
- Coordinate with payroll providers or internal payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with HMRC requirements and UK payroll legislation
- Maintain payroll records and confidential employee information
- Support year-end payroll activities, including P60s and reporting requirements
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure HR and payroll processes comply with UK employment law, GDPR requirements, and company policies
- Produce HR and payroll reports as required
- Monitor visa expiry dates and right-to-work documentation
- Support audits and compliance reviews
