Job summary

Precast and Construction Solutions by Megawide - CELS is seeking an experienced HR leader to develop and implement company-wide HR strategies in the Philippines. The role focuses on organization development, succession planning, and addressing HR issues while aligning with business goals.

The candidate will review budgets, plan objectives, and assess workforce needs, driving change and culture improvements across manufacturing and construction environments.

Qualifications

• English and Filipino proficiency required.
• 10+ years in HR with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in Manufacturing or Construction is a plus.
• Proficient in HRIS platforms; MS Teams familiarity preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills across all levels of staff.
• Solid knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and employment regulations.

Job description

• Develop and implement company-wide HR strategies aligned with overall business goals.
• Create organization development and succession planning programs to support employee growth.
• Provide solutions and actions for HR-related issues and their organizational impact.
• Review and manage the HR department’s budget, annual plans, and objectives.
• Assess business plans and determine the optimal organizational structure and workforce size.
• Lead change management initiatives to improve organizational culture.
• Facilitate problem-solving and creative processes to enhance systems, structures, and methods.
• Serve as a resource for organizational structure, job design, job descriptions, and manpower planning.
• Review org charts and recommend proper staffing levels across departments.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, performance management, training, discipline, employee engagement, and general administration (IT, assets, security, janitorial, contractors) to ensure compliance, competitiveness, and operational support.

Job Requirements:

• Professional working proficiency in both English and Filipino.
• At least 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Prior experience in the Manufacturing or Construction industry is an advantage.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms and familiarity with MS Teams are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and engage with employees at all levels.
• Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code and employment regulations.
