Job summary

ISTA Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Manager in the Philippines who will lead the HR team and oversee employee relations, compensation, and compliance. The role focuses on policy development, reporting, and ensuring smooth HR operations across our Makati and Mandaluyong sites.

You will collaborate with leadership to implement people initiatives, manage complex employee issues, and support organizational growth while maintaining a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as HR Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Excellent knowledge of local employment laws.
• Strong people and organizational management skills.
• Professional approach to internal and external clients.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• High confidentiality and discretion when dealing with people.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Manage the HR team including Employee & Labor Relations and Compensation & Benefits.
• Generate and prepare HR-related reports.
• Submit reports to DOLE as required.
• Lead HR memos on tardiness, absences and conduct violations.
• Be the main contact for escalated and sensitive violations.
• Ensure daily administration of policies related to labor relations.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Manage resignation/termination processes and related legal matters.
• Support internal and external HR inquiries and admin requests.
• Provide administrative support for efficient office operations.
• Ensure HR functions run smoothly and align with company needs.
• Partner with other departments for HR interventions.
• Provide coaching sessions and development plans for team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manages the whole HR team composed of Employee and Labor Relations, and Compensation and Benefits
• Generates and prepares HR-related reports
• Prepares and submits reports to DOLE, as required
• Leads the preparation of HR Memos on tardiness, absences and other violations. (NTEs, Warnings, discussion of Code of Conduct,)
• Main Point of contact for escalated and sensitive violations
• Ensures that daily administration of general policies and programs connected to labor relations are observed
• Assists in the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures
• Manages resignation and termination procedures as well as potential legal matters related to employees filing lawsuits against the employer
• Supports all internal and external HR-related and Admin inquiries or requests
• Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations
• Ensure that the organization's HR functions run smoothly, effectively supporting the needs of both employees and the company
• Partners with other departments where HR intervention and participation are required
• Provides coaching sessions and developmental action plans for the members
• Performs other duties as assigned by the company

Requirements

• At least 2 years experience as an HR Manager or Assistant manager
• Excellent knowledge of local employment laws.
• Strong people and organizational management skills.
• Leader in customer service, professional approach to internal and external clients.
• Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrates effective time management skills.
• High confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people.
• Computer Literate in MS Office Applications.
• Familiar with any HRIS
• Strong verbal and written English skills
• Willing to work onsite in MAKATI and MANDALUYONG
• Amenable working night shifts
