Job summary

Gothong Southern Shipping Lines is seeking a Learning and Development professional to design, deliver, and coordinate training programs across the organization, with a focus on building employee capability.

You will facilitate classroom, virtual, and blended sessions, align programs with business objectives, track metrics, and manage training logistics to ensure timely delivery and impact on performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging learning programs to support employee capability development
• Facilitate classroom, virtual, and blended training sessions
• Ensure facilitator readiness, complete materials, and high-quality delivery
• Support internal trainers and subject matter experts during program execution
• Assist in designing and implementing learning programs aligned with approved training plans
• Translate learning strategies into practical modules and initiatives
• Customize content to meet departmental and role-specific needs
• Support training needs analysis and contribute to annual learning plans
• Ensure alignment with competency frameworks and business objectives
• Maximize the efficient use of learning resources without compromising quality
• Track training expenses and monitor budget utilization
• Recommend cost-effective delivery methods (e.g., internal facilitation, digital tools)
• Coordinate with vendors and internal partners to optimize costs
• Ensure programs are delivered within approved budgets and timelines
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support training initiatives
• Coordinate with department heads and HR partners on schedules and requirements
• Gather feedback to continuously improve program effectiveness
• Provide updates on training progress, participation, and completion
• Align learning initiatives with operational needs
• Apply business insights to ensure learning initiatives drive performance outcomes
• Align training delivery with organizational priorities and operational realities
• Support programs that enhance productivity, service quality, and leadership capability
• Monitor post-training application and identify performance gaps
