Job summary

Poseidon Distribution OPC is seeking an HR Generalist to be the central resource for employee inquiries, talent acquisition, and performance management. You will partner with department leaders to align HR practices with company goals.

Responsibilities include full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, HRIS data management, and supporting performance review processes in a dynamic distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional HR Generalist experience.
• Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Working knowledge of current employment and labor laws.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with empathy and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS software.
• Strong discretion handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment: descriptions, sourcing, interviews, offers.
• Onboard new hires with onboarding programs.
• Serve as primary contact for employee relations and policy questions.
• Administer benefits, leaves, and assist with open enrollment.
• Maintain confidential HR records in the HRIS.
• Support performance reviews and employee development plans.
• Monitor compliance with local and national labor regulations.
