The HR Generalist – Payroll is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll while supporting core HR functions such as employee records management, benefits administration, and statutory compliance. This role ensures payroll accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Process end-to-end payroll for employees, including regular, overtime, holiday, night differential, and special pay
Ensure accurate computation and timely remittance of statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, withholding tax)
Maintain and update employee payroll records, compensation changes, and deductions
Coordinate with Finance/Accounting for payroll funding, posting, and reconciliation
Handle payroll-related employee inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
Prepare payroll reports, journals, and summaries for management and audit purposes
Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies
Assist in HR functions such as employee records management, onboarding, and offboarding
Support audits, government inspections, and payroll-related documentation
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accountancy, Business Administration, or related field
2–5 years experience as an HR Generalist or Payroll Officer handling end-to-end payroll
Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, payroll computation, and statutory requirements
Experience with payroll systems and HRIS; strong MS Excel skills
High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
