Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking an HR Generalist to live the Head, Heart, Hustle mantra, delivering exceptional service with expertise and empathy. You will contribute to policy development, engage with program clients, and drive talent management across the organization.

You will use data to measure effectiveness, provide expert input on HR issues, and coach managers to proactively address organizational needs. This role requires onsite night shifts and relocation to Bacolod with assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Generalist or similar HR role.
• Willingness to work onsite on a night shift schedule.
• Willingness to relocate to Bacolod with relocation support (including accommodation and transport).

Responsibilities

• Engage with program clients to ensure effective use of People tools and policies.
• Drive consistency in attracting, managing and developing talent.
• Collaborate with People colleagues to align tools and policies and improve engagement and performance.

• Provide expert input across HR issues; design and deliver high-impact solutions.
• Coach managers to anticipate and prevent organizational issues.
• Lead or participate in projects to uphold the company’s reputation as an employer of choice.
• Stay updated on HR trends and best practices; drive improvements within the function.

What You'll Do:

• Contribute to, and where accountable, define policies and processes that support the Ubiquity and Program/ People strategy and objectives.

• Use and understand Ubiquity People tools and policies, engaging with program clients effectively to ensure their use across the organization

• Drive consistency of approach across the company in attracting, managing and developing talent to support current and future organizational needs.

• Work closely with all Ubiquity People colleagues to ensure that tools and policies are aligned, enhance employee engagement and ultimately improve performance.

• Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of tools and policies and understand the landscape for further improvement.

• Provide expert input across a range of HR issues (generalist / specific expertise); Design and deliver high-impact solutions that meet the needs of the business.

• Coach and build the capability of people managers to anticipate and pre-empt organizational issues.

• Participate in relevant projects, leading and championing as appropriate (Site-wide and/ or Global-wide) the company’s reputation as a world-class organization and employer of choice.

• Keep up to date with external trends and best practice in the areas of expertise and HR more broadly.

• Continuously drive improvements in tools and policies through external market trends, insight, and internal best practice.

• Proactively share best practice, intelligence, and potential Ubiquity-wide activities within the HR function.

• Build relationships and form alliances with external counterparts, communities of practice, and stakeholders to scan for innovations and opportunities to form partnerships.

• Understand and anticipate the need for change, diagnose the underlying issues, and build the case for change with stakeholders. Build frameworks to plan and manage the continuous process of change, including dependencies, risk, potential scenarios, and options to mitigate.

• Ensure a minimum Satisfactory rating on internal and external HR audits.

• Must be willing to work onsite on a night shift schedule.

• Must be willing to relocate to Bacolod. Relocation assistance will be provided, including one (1) month of accommodation, a relocation allowance, and a one-way transportation ticket to Bacolod.
