Job summary

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team at WalterMart Supermarket, Incorporated. Based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, this is a full-time position that plays a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing core HR functions while ensuring a positive employee experience and maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies.

This role is essential to our HR function, contributing to the development of a productive, engaged, and high-performing workforce aligned with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive employee experience from pre-employment to regularization

• Address employee relations concerns and facilitate the resolution of workplace issues to promote a harmonious work environment

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and company policies

• Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits

• Support performance management processes, employee development initiatives, and organizational growth programs

• Prepare, analyze, and maintain HR reports, providing recommendations to improve HR processes and employee engagement

• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure proper handling and confidentiality of HR documentation

• Assist in implementing HR policies, programs, and procedures that support business objectives

• Provide guidance and support to employees and department heads on HR-related matters

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or any related field

• At least 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a retail, supermarket, or similar fast-paced environment

• Previous experience in a supervisory capacity is required

• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR best practices

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities with attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity

• Willing to be assigned at WM Head Office, Quezon City
