Job summary

WalterMart Supermarket, Incorporated in Manila seeks an experienced HR Generalist based in Quezon City to support day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. You will administer benefits, contribute to performance management, and maintain accurate records with discretion.

A Bachelor's in HR/Business/Psych, 3–5 years in HR, and supervisory experience are required; willingness to be at WM Head Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in retail.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS; able to handle confidential information.
• Willing to be based at WM Head Office, Quezon City.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding and employee lifecycle.
• Address employee relations concerns and resolve workplace issues.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Administer benefits programs and respond to inquiries.
• Support performance management and employee development.
• Prepare HR reports and provide process improvement recommendations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and confidentiality.
• Assist in implementing HR policies and programs.
• Provide guidance to employees and department heads.
