Job summary

PM Consulting in the Philippines is seeking an HR Generalist to be based onsite in Bauan, Batangas, handling recruitment while supporting daily HR operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR, a bachelor’s degree, and leadership exposure, with a preference for logistics/maritime industry experience. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential for collaborating with employees and managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 5 years of general HR experience covering recruitment, ER, performance management, compensation/benefits, training and HR admin
• Strong experience in recruitment and talent acquisition including end-to-end processes
• Preferably at least 1 year of people management or leadership experience
• Experience in logistics, maritime, transportation, shipping, or related industries is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage and support day-to-day HR operations across various HR functions and ensure timely delivery of HR services
• Lead end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition from sourcing to onboarding
• Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and recruitment strategies
• Handle employee relations concerns and guide on HR policies and workplace matters
• Support performance management processes including reviews and development
• Assist in compensation and benefits programs and other HR processes
• Coordinate and support training and development initiatives
• Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and reports
• Ensure compliance with policies and labor laws
• Contribute to HR policies, programs and employee engagement initiatives
• Provide guidance and support to HR team and stakeholders

Role Overview

The HR Generalist will oversee a broad range of HR functions, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition. The role will support day-to-day HR operations while partnering with employees and management on people-related matters. Experience in logistics, maritime, or related industries is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of general HR experience, covering various HR facets such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR administration.
• Strong experience and expertise in recruitment and talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Preferably with at least 1 year of people management or leadership experience.
• Experience in the logistics, maritime, transportation, shipping, or related industriesis highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently while effectively collaborating with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment regulations.

• Handle employee relations concerns and provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
• Support performance management processes, including performance reviews, employee development, and related HR initiatives.
• Assist in the implementation and administration of compensation and benefits programs and other employee-related processes.
• Coordinate and support training and development initiatives based on organizational and employee needs.
• Maintain accurate and updated employee records, HR documentation, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws and regulations.
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives that contribute to employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
• Provide guidance and support to the HR team and other stakeholders, as needed.
