Job summary

Flashpacker Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist in Batangas City, Philippines, to manage recruitment, payroll, and employee relations for resort staff. The role requires coordinating onboarding, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws.

You will handle benefits, attendance, and performance evaluations, while supporting manpower planning during peak seasons. Weekend and holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
• 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Experience in payroll and statutory benefits administration.
• Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and government-mandated benefits.
• Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace and HR or payroll systems.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, interviews, hiring, and onboarding of resort employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
• Prepare and process payroll, including attendance, overtime, leave, deductions, and other payroll inputs.
• Administer statutory benefits and government contributions, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG, and ensure timely processing and compliance.
• Monitor attendance, leave, schedules, overtime, and other employee time records.
• Handle employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
• Coordinate employee orientation, training, engagement activities, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable Philippine labor laws.
• Assist with manpower planning and HR requirements during peak seasons, holidays, and special events.
