Unioil Petroleum Philippines, Inc. is seeking an HR Assistant for Compensation and Benefits to support payroll, benefits administration, and related processes. You will handle enrollments, records, and communication with vendors and government agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The HR Assistant for Compensation and Benefits provides timely and accurate administrative support for C&B operations in preparation for the segmentation of Compensation and Benefits functions across company groups. This role ensures business continuity, compliance, and efficient delivery of employee compensation and benefits services — enabling the team to focus on strategic programs and organizational priorities. The position serves as a key operational link between employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders in all matters related to compensation, payroll, and benefits administration.
Administer employee enrollment, updates, terminations, and benefit record changes
Assist in coordinating availments with HMO, insurance providers, and government agencies
Maintain accurate benefit records and track submissions, billings, and documentation requirements
Send out memos for promotions, transfers, and compensation adjustments
Support activities for audit exercises (DOLE, SGV, government agencies)
Prepare and assist in creating materials for the dissemination of compensation-related initiatives
Support payroll processing through accurate and timely submission of required data
Assist in consolidating documentation for salary adjustments and other compensation-related transactions
Support annualization activities including dissemination and consolidation of employee compensation certificates
Ensure timely and accurate submission of accounting-related reports through proper communication channels
Maintain, update, and safeguard compensation and benefits records, databases, and employee files
Provide administrative support for HRIS maintenance and register new employees on the Facial Recognition Device
Update trackers and monitoring tools; ensure HR tickets are closed within timeline
Handle employee information confidentially and ensure secure storage, release, and use of records and reports
Encourage the use of the HR Ticketing tool and respond to queries regarding compensation, benefits, and related processes
Provide timely, professional, and accurate responses to employee concerns; follow through on requests until resolution
Coordinate payroll and benefits transactions with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
One (1) to two (2) years of experience in HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, or administrative support is preferred
Direct experience supporting Compensation & Benefits functions, including payroll administration, government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), HMO administration, and employee records management
Experience in using HR technology platforms, HRIS, and analytics tools is an advantage
Good communication skills and proficiency in the English language
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Canva or similar communication/design tools for employee communications is an advantage
Familiarity with digital workplace solutions, HR technologies, and AI-powered productivity tools
Completion of HR-related certifications in Compensation & Benefits Administration, Payroll Management, Labor Laws, or HRIS is a plus
