Job summary

DAY1 CRAFT PHILIPPINES INC. in Biñan, Laguna is seeking an experienced Learning & Development leader to design and drive our organizational development and training initiatives.

You will partner with HR leadership and department heads to assess needs, build training programs, manage performance cycles, and oversee succession planning to develop high-potential talent.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leadership to analyze needs, identify skills gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement an org development strategy aligned with strategic goals.
• Create and facilitate training programs (in-person, virtual, and e-learning) on leadership, compliance, soft skills, and technical topics.
• Lead full L&D cycle from needs assessment to delivery, evaluation and improvement.
• Oversee performance management: SMART goals, mid-year reviews, year-end evaluations, and calibration.
• Develop talent review and succession planning to grow high-potential employees.
• Supervise and develop HRAD staff.
• Ensure training complies with applicable regulations.

Job description

• Partner with HR leadership and department heads to conduct needs analyses and identify skills gaps, development needs, and opportunities for organizational improvement.

• Design and implement a comprehensive organizational development strategy aligned with the company's strategic goals.

• Create and facilitate engaging training programs (in-person, virtual, and e-learning) on topics including leadership development, mandatory compliance, soft skills, and technical training.

• Lead the full cycle of the L&D function: from needs assessment and program design to delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.

• Oversee the company’s performance management cycle, including goal setting (SMART goals), mid-year reviews, year-end evaluations, and calibration sessions.

• Develop and administer talent review and succession planning processes to identify and develop high-potential employees.

• Supervise, mentor, and develop the HRAD staffs.

• Ensure all training and development activities comply with relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
