Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a residential hotel operations team. The role involves supervising daily cleaning activities, ensuring rooms meet brand and quality standards, and coordinating with Front Office, Engineering and Laundry for smooth operations.

You will train and motivate staff, manage inventory, and prepare routine reports while upholding cleanliness and safety standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in housekeeping, with supervisory/leadership experience.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, standards, room inspections and linen/inventory control.
• Familiarity with DOLE OSH standards, waste management and environmental regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to train, coach and motivate housekeeping staff.

Responsibilities

Job description

QUALIFICATION

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably with supervisory or leadership experience, and previous experience in hotel housekeeping operations, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Knowledgeable in hotel housekeeping operations, cleaning standards, room inspection procedures, linen management, and inventory control.
• Deep understanding of Hop Inn brand standards, policies, and SOPs, with knowledge of DOLE OSH standards, waste management, and environmental regulations.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, team-management, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with good customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards, with good inventory and organizational skills and ability to prepare and maintain operational reports.
• Ability to train, coach, and motivate housekeeping staff, with good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on housekeeping duties, including walking, bending, and lifting, and working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work effectively with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other hotel departments; professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Strong command of English and Filipino, proficiency in MS Office, inventory tracking, and basic reporting, and ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required, with high integrity and confidentiality in handling guest property and hotel assets.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant management, Tourism Management or related filed

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES

• Minimum 2-3 years in housekeeping operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or senior role in the hotel industry
• Experience in budget – strong advantage
• Hands on knowledge of room cleaning procedures, bed making, bathroom sanitation, deep cleaning, laundry operations, linen management and chemical handling
• Familiarity with hotel cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of proper use, dilution and storage of cleaning chemicals, understanding of MSDS/ Safet Data Sheets
• Experience in inventory control, linen management and supplier coordination
• Background in quality inspection, room readiness checking and guest complaint resolution
